Philippe’s instruments of choice are Buchla modular synthesizers.
He has been endorsed by the Buchla Electronic Musical Instruments Company for many years, and received accolades from pioneers such as Morton Subotnick, Suzanne Ciani, and Todd Barton.Since the early 2000s, Philippe has been traveling the world, playing live shows at festivals all over Europe, Russia, Canada, the USA, Mexico, Australia & Asia.
He released many projects on independent music labels, including Aagoo, Southern UK, Monotype, Play Loud!, Bölt, Alrealon Musique, Beta-Lactam Ring, Sub Rosa, HomeNormal, Important Records, HelloSquare, Public Eyesore, Utech, Staubgold.Philippe is constantly trying to break his composition routines by relying on subtractive and additive synthesis to design sounds and compose music. He explores new paths of creation to defy electronic music genres and surprise the listeners.Philippe studied composition & electroacoustic music in France at Marseille’s CNRR Conservatory of Music. There he majored in multi-channel diffusion, spatialization in acousmatic music, and modular synthesis.

He also created MODULISME a pioneering platform/label dedicated to promoting modular synthesis. This free content is comprised of live sessions, albums, interviews, and news. It provides an extensive and growing international resource, highlighting the work of hundreds of composers. MODULISME is also a self-titled radio show broadcasting on a dozen radio stations worldwide. Philippe sees MODULISME as a natural continuation of his previously-owned, renowned, and prominent label BiP_HOp, whose main focus was on experimental material and alternatives to mainstream electronic music.
